What is OMEFLEX used for?

What does OMEFLEX contain?

OMEFLEX contains fish oil which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA). EPA and DHA are specific types of omega-3 fatty acids which help to provide relief from pain and swelling. Therefore, you may use OMEFLEX for relief from your symptoms.

How is OMEFLEX useful in the treatment of osteoarthritis?

I am allergic to seafood. Can I take OMEFLEX?

If you are allergic to seafood, it is not recommended to take OMEFLEX as it contains fish oil which is extracted from oily fish tissue.

How many capsules of OMEFLEX can I take in a day?

You may take up to 3 capsules of OMEFLEX in a day or as directed by physician.

I am a diabetic patient since 2 years and I have recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Can I take OMEFLEX?

If you are a diabetic patient, please consult your doctor before taking OMEFLEX as it contains glucosamine, which may increase your blood sugar levels.

Can pregnant women with joint pains take OMEFLEX?

It is not recommended to use OMEFLEX in pregnant or lactating women without medical advice.

Does OMEFLEX cause any side effects?

OMEFLEX may sometimes cause gastrointestinal side effects such as heart burn, nausea, diarrhoea and indigestion.
